The Recipe Method is a Minnesota-based videography company that specializes in recipe shorts, videos, DIY videos, and editing services. Their business requires a creative eye as well as a passion for what they do. As a mother – daughter owned company, they bring both of their talents together to creative beautiful video footage.
The client first approached me with needing branding as well as a UX-friendly website. To start, the color schemes are exactly what the client was looking for, keeping it somewhat feminine since it is a woman-owned business but keeping a professional and inviting feel. Colors such as mauve, tans, and grays were used. The logo was created within the thought of using the camera eye that would keep it simple yet get the point across for videography. The typefaces used were to bring modern yet eclectic vibes to carry this brand into its next 5-10 years of use.
Taking the branding into account while building the website, the ebb, and flow of this website is to make sure clients and potential clients get various aspects of information before contacting The Recipe Method. Keeping it clean and simple using CTA’s and various transitions to draw in the appeal of the designs.
